I understand firsthand the many challenges that women, especially women of color, face in the workplace. After personally struggling with infertility and loss for several years, I obtained my Master's in Counseling at George Mason University to become the counselor that I needed but could not find at the time.
Since then, I have had the privilege to help guide clients to create lasting and effective change in their own lives. My clinical experience includes providing individual and group therapy in a community outpatient clinic and many years working as a therapist and supervisor in a large county agency.
I opened my private practice, Women's Therapy and Empowerment, LLC, with the mission to empower women, and those who identify as women, through evidence-based therapy, education, career counseling, and coaching.
